Elite Theatre - Second Sunday Stage Reading
Sunday, February 12th at 7 p.m.
The Elite Theatre Company invites you to a one night only reading of the new play, "A Different Perspective," written by Alistair Faulkner and directed by James Castle Stevens. As part of the writing process a play must be heard out loud before moving on to that first production. The Elite Theatre Company offers you, the audience, a chance to be part of the process, encouraging you to give critical feedback to the playwright and help guide each work on its journey from the page to the stage.
Story synopsis: Start with an Irish, pot smoking, ne'er-do-well art teacher, mix in a reserved academic who is highly protective of her talented but autistic daughter, include the teacher's female American partner and two other female students - one young and impressionable, the other a senior citizen. Bring them all together in the intimate atmosphere of a figure drawing weekend in the English countryside and you have... "A Different Perspective."
Admission is free to this event and your participation is wanted.
